I just wanted to post our very first Christmas tree together!! Now I know I could use some help, but hey it's my first one. We were given this tree and it came pre lit from the previous owner, my mom. Who by the way wraps her trees very well, I mean around every branch. So when I plugged it in all the lights were not working so you know the drill you fiddle and play with every light to find the culprit. After about an hour we decided to remove the lights and put the new ones on that I bought. Removing the lights took about an hour or more and then it came time to wrap with the new lights. I pulled them out of the box and dang the cording was white. You can't have white corded lights on a green Christmas tree!! So back to the store we went. About three hours later and around one a.m the tree was done.
I love Christmas and I was so excited to finally put this baby up. This time of year is the greatest and I am happy I have someone so special to share it with.. I hope everyone enjoys getting their Christmas decorations up and getting themselves into the holiday cheer!!

Halloween...
This year for Halloween Parker and I went over to my sister Janica's house. Parker dressed up as a 80's hottie, I was a 60's wild child, Mom was the best 80's lady, Dad was Payne Stewart the golfer, Janica was a flapper, and Bryce was a mobster. We had some wonderful soup and homemade cinnamon rolls over there. We just hung out and talked for awhile. When all the trick or treaters stopped coming we went downstairs and watched a scary movie. We watched the Haunting in Conneticut. It had some scary sections but for the most part not too scary. The one thing that would scare me was when my dad out of no where let out this loud, high pitched scream!! Always the Funny guy. Halloween was fun and I am glad we had people to share it with.

What I am thankful for...
I was sitting here on the computer not tired one bit and was thinking about alot of things. So why not type it up for everyone to see... Ha ha
I am so blessed to have everything that I have. I recently got married to the most wonderful person, sometimes I wonder why he chose me? Seriously I mean that, he has so many great things to offer and boy do I feel lucky. I try to be perfect for him and in the end I find that I have let myself down. What is perfect anyway? Being a newlywed is so different and there is alot of adjusting. I find that i worry so much about the little things, and those things may not matter as much as I thought they would. I am so thankful Parker puts up with my constant battle of trying hard to be perfect and always thinking i need improvement. I will work on that:)
I am so thankful for family... I can't tell you enough how special family is to me. My parents are wonderful examples and simply are my best friends. Sisters are a true blessing, I love them so much. I have a tendency to open myself up to strangers more than I do to family most of the time. Weird I know, but it's true. Getting older and realizing things about myself has been a neat discovery. I want to open myself up to those around me, especially those close to me. If I don't I may miss some valuable lessons of love. By doing this I can be a better sister. I want my sisters to know what impact they have had on me. I want to be like them in so many ways. They always lead by example, so thank you for helpng me realize what life was really all about!
I am thankful for my new family the Cornaby's. I love the doors opened by marrying into another family. Everyone lives and leads a different story and how amazing it is to learn from others. These are the good days where life is changing and new lessons are there to be taught. I have not shared my feelings like this on something such as the internet, but oh well. I guess I was feeling like I wanted to share some of what I felt tonight and what makes my little brain tick. Life is good and only gets better day by day!!!

There's only one Lagoon!
So Parker and I went to Lagoon and had alot of fun. Why is it that everything is so much more fun when your a kid though? I mean don't get me wrong we had a blast, but being a kid seems to be over the top exciting and fun. We sat on one of the benches for a little bit and just watched people and that is always awesome. I was even caught being watched by a few kids as I busted a few moves to the haunted beats. Ha ha I think I freaked a few out and the others were just laughing. Those are the fun times right?! People watching was excellent for the fact that it is Frightmare season, the costumes are hilarious. While riding the rides I loved to hear Parker laugh, if you have heard it you know what I am talking about. I love laughing and I found that we did this the majority of our time there. We really just are kids at heart, it's better that way.. Until next time farewell Lagoon!!!

The most perfect day!
So Aug. 6th goes down in history as the most wonderful day thus far in my life. I have to say that the actual wedding day was amazing. Everyone kept telling me to just enjoy the day cause it goes by so fast. It's true, sadly it's true! I did try my hardest to soak in all the memories though.
We were married Aug 6th in the Salt Lake temple. What a beautiful experience to get married in such a special place. We later went to the luncheon which was held at Rodezios. Can we say Yum yum? Parker's parents thought it would be nice to have some Brazilian food on behalf of Parker serving a mission in Brazil. It could not have been better. To eat lunch with all our family and friends, so fun.
The reception turned out beautiful thanks to my mom. She is so creative and did a wonderful job. I loved how everything came together and fit the evening. I could not be happier with how my life has turned out. I married the most perfect person for me, he is my best friend. I also love that now everything I do is not just for myself but includes someone else. Life is good and love is great. Thank you to everyone who played a very important part in our special day! We love you!!!!

Engagements and Bridals
Ok so I have been horrible with not sharing and posting more about the wedding. I have been so busy and before I realized it, we only have two weeks left. Parker and I did our engagements down in Salt Lake. We first took some casual photos around the 9th and 9th area. These were fun because we shot alot of them down an alley way that had alot of character. We then changed our clothes into a more dressy feel. The photographer took us to this Garden ward church where there was this amazing yard. We had so much fun shooting that day. Parker was a great trooper to take all those pictures.
I did my bridals last Wed and enjoyed it so much. I wanted to go out Antelope Island to get some pictures around sunset and evening time. I took my Mom with me to have her help and give some input. As the evening went on we discovered all the different bugs out on Antelope Island. There were just millions of gnats, grasshoppers, and other small insects. I can so handle these, it's when I saw all the spiders! I was dying at how many of these creepy crawlers call Antelope Island home. Once a year the neoscona spiders take over the island. Not really take over but pretty much. There were seriously thousands upon thousands. As much as it was so disturbing, I still found it interesting. So interesting in fact that I took Parfer back two days later to show him. What a great day over all, I actually found it amazing. If you have not been out to Antelope Island at sunset, GO!! It's beautiful. Well I hope you enjoy these..

My Shower
Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I didn't realize how much work a wedding can be. I have loved every minute of it, well actually there has been times where I am sick of making decisions. I have so many people helping me with everything so it has been so fun. Today was my first bridal shower and it was amazing. My sisters Jen and Janica threw it for me and went above and beyond. I think they enjoyed planning and decorating for this. I think they could go into business or call themselves the new Martha Stewarts. I had family and friends come that I love so much. They are so generous and made my shower just perfect. The table that my sisters put together for the food and drinks was so cute. Here are a few of pictures from my very fun day.
Thanks again to my loving sisters for throwing me this shower. I really felt so loved and it meant more than they know. I am getting even more excited with my wedding being right around the corner. Aug. 6th will be a great day.

How this thing called a wedding got started!
I wanted to share my engagement story and how this whole thing came to be. This year on Valentines day, Parker and I spent the whole day together. We woke up and decided to go to breakfast. We chose Doug and Emmy's and surprise surprise it was swamped. We would have not been eating until 2:00, guaranteed! We figured we better find somewhere else so we went to Mimi's cafe. After breakfast we went shopping and picked up a few things. After visiting loved ones we thought we would go snow shoeing. We had talked about going for a long time. We drove up to Mountain Green, which by the way is beautiful. After snow shoeing in for a good twenty mins or so we came to a huge snow hill. We climbed to the top and looked at the beautiful view around us.
Since it was Valentines day, Parker thought it would be cool to make a giant heart in the snow. He wanted to put P+J and have me take a picture of it. He told me to stay up on the hill and he would go down into the field. I guided him while he was snow shoeing this huge heart into the snow.
After the heart was made he told me to go the other side of the hill and to not watch cause this next part was a surprise. I had no I idea, I sat and took pictures and wrote things in the snow. After about 15 mins I wondered what was taking so long? Finally he came huffing and puffing up the hill. He had me close my eyes and he led me to the edge. He told me to open my eyes and what I saw was amazing. Parker had stomped Will you marry me Jamie?, into the heart. He got down on one knee and told me some of the nicest things I have ever heard.
I of course said YES, and that is where we are today!! I am the luckiest girl to be able to share my life with this person. Here are a few more pictures of our unforgettable day.

Parker's birthday
Yesterday was not only Easter but Parker's birthday. It was a day of family time and rememberance. I love the holidays but especially Easter. It has such meaning to me and I am so thankful for what it means in my life. I love the Savior and all he did for all of us.
After church on Easter, Parker and I packed a picnic lunch. For his birthday he wanted to drive as far as he could before dinner. We got in the car and started heading east. We wanted to make it to the sister hills in Wyoming. After three hours in the car we made it to Wyoming and back just in time for dinner. I love spending time with Parker, we sat and talked about everything.
The following day we went out to dinner with Parker's family. I love spending time with the Cornabys. Maddi was in town for the weekend and it has been so fun having her around. In my little selfish way I want her to just come back up this way. I totally understand that she is in love with Moab. Until then I will look forward to seeing her once a month.
This is the whole family at dinner, and Chris who is Maddi's new boyfriend.

Wedding dresses!!
So today I went to a dress party with my sister Jen. I was loving that we went in and came out ten minutes later with a dress for my niece. Score! I also went back to one of the bridal stores to try on some dresses again. I went last weekend with my mom and loved two dresses. What to do when there are two beautiful dresses to choose from? Not only do I like them both but they are two totally different styles. I decided that today I needed to take two of my best friends with me for some help deciding. Ashton and Gina came with me and helped me put my dresses on! It was so fun to have my close friends there at this really important time in my life. I think we all agreed on the same one! I am getting so excited to have my wedding day finally come. Until then I am enjoying all the planning and fun girl things. I love having my amazing mother and sister to help. I also have two wonderful friends, thank you and I love you...

Blissful day
I had a wonderful day today! One of my dear friends got married! I love the feeling of seeing two beautiful people married. I am so grateful for the happiness and true love that was so noticeable. I saw many friends that I have not seen in years. I was at the wedding with people I just love. My parents came and spent some time with Parker and my friends. One of my best friends Gina and her date Christian came to have dinner with us.. Oh how I love friends, honestly love these two! Good friends may be hard to find but I have been so lucky in my life. Those around me that I share laughter and good times with are priceless.. Today was good because life is good. I know that there are so many great things yet to come but I am enjoying the journey. How many times do we live in the past or future? I know I do all the time. That is a goal of mine to enjoy the present! Once again congrats Erica and Bryce. Your a beautiful couple!

I am now a blogger!
Well I can't get the background to show up.. So for now it's going to be blah. I decided to start a blog so I can write down things that are important to me. I also want to share my many memories with those I care about. I have enjoyed going on my sisters pages and reading what they have been up to. I also found alot of people from high school too. I am amazed to see their lives and how they have changed. Most of them are married and have beautiful children. Good news!!! I am getting married this summer to my love Parker. My life is going to be changing. Change is a great thing though. I am excited to share this important time of my life with all of those I love and care about.. So I am excited to be starting this blog and keeping in touch with fellow bloggers! I also want to say how blessed I am with the wonderful people in my life. I honestly have great family and friends.
